Christophe and Paola's wedding and AI transition party

Now that I'm on holiday, I'll just start blogging again about all the interesting things that are happening and I'll fill the gap from the past month when I feel like it.
My holiday started with a visit to Belgium, visiting my family, but the actual reason of the stop in Belgium was the wedding of Christophe and Paola, who were in the AIESEC in Belgium MC with me in 2004-2005.
The wedding was taking place very close to my home, in the castle of Brasschaat. I had a very nice evening and also saw many people again. For example, it was a nice surprise to see Kuntal, who is working in London nowadays.
I managed to catch up with Osku as well. Soon, that won't be so easy anymore as he will be moving to Japan for a while. The newly married couple was very pretty and immediately started working on their wedding vows (Paola promised that she would teach Christophe how to dance).

On the next day I drove to Rotterdam for the AIESEC International Transition party.
Rotterdam is a very modern city, as it had to be rebuilt completely after the second World War. I am still amazed that I only discovered some buildings there now, on my 4th visit. My most notable discovery was the Euromast, which is a tower of almost 200 meters high. I can't imagine how I have missed this before.
The weekend was a time to catch up with even more people, and find out some interesting facts. Chrisi, for example, turns out to love fast food as much as I do. In the picture below you can see us with fidelity cards from Subway, McDonald's and Snack Botanique (some kebab place in Brussels).
I spent the night sleeping in the car, which turned out to be quite comfortable. My wake up call was provided by the police of Rotterdam, who were wondering what I was doing there sitting in a car all night.

Now I am writing this post in a youth hostel in Vienna. More stories about that will come when I reach an Internet connection again.

Comments:
I missed the AI transition. Huhu!
